Faradair® has just announced a new logo for the hybrid electric aircraft company, courtesy of a new partnership with branding and investment agency – Household Name, based out of New York.
This exciting new partnership see’s Household Name taking on the responsibility of Faradair’s push into the US investment market, including the establishment of a local satellite office with potential scope to scale up or relocate prototype development operations to the USA.
Managing Director of Faradair® – Neil Cloughley said this – “As the BEHA M1H hybrid electric aircraft programme gathers pace, it was essential to bring the right people in to assist us as we work toward delivering the world’s most environmental aircraft”. “Adding an agency that has worked with the likes of Airbus, is a great opportunity to step back and review our core objectives, vision and the most suitable base location to continue the fantastic work we have delivered over the last five years.”
Continuing he said “I love the refreshed corporate branding which now includes our ‘Wing Fin’ which is such a unique and core part of Faradair’s identity and we are really looking forward to working with Adrian Saker at Household Name as we push the BEHA M1H into the US market.”
Adrian Saker, founder of Household Name said this of the new partnership – “As global emission and noise pollution regulations push down toward zero, sustainable growth in aviation will be delivered by hybrid-electric aircraft designs. We’re proud to partner with Faradair in their goal to lead the industry into a cleaner, greener, more cost efficient era”.
He continues “We look forward to engaging investors and development partnerships to build, test and fly the BEHA M1H, a demonstrator prototype to match and surpass the economics of any aircraft in its class”.
Faradair® has also undergone an internal reshuffle recently, with Chris Leeds moving to Finance Director from Non-Executive Director and the company is also delighted to announce the addition to the Advisory Board of Toby McCann.
Toby has 25+ years’ experience in engineering and flight test, having recently left the Fleet Air Arm where he oversaw the development, certification and introduction to service of a number of aircraft. Intimately involved in the F-35 Lightning programme, he has led international teams working the most advanced 5th generation aircraft in the world. He was part of the aviation design team for the Royal Navy’s new aircraft carrier, worked in USA as a senior airworthiness executive and was privileged to lead the UK’s F-35 developmental flight test programme. Most recently he provided safety and airworthiness assurance across the Royal Navy’s entire aircraft fleet.
Of the other appointments, Neil said – “Bringing Chris into the Executive team made a huge amount of sense, since he has been with the project from the beginning and knows the business as well as anyone. We also welcome ‘on-board’ former Fleet Air Arm Commander Toby McCann to the Advisory Board”
He continues – “Toby has ‘been there and done it’ and in light of programme developments ongoing with the BEHA M1H, his knowledge and past experience is going to be of enormous benefit to the company as we move into the prototype development phase. I am excited to see the input he can make to the programme over the coming months and he really strengthens our military and aerospace engineering experience base, we are fortunate and delighted to have him in the team”.
Toby McCann said this about joining Faradair® – “I am excited to join the advisory board of Faradair, it is a privilege to have the opportunity to help shape the future of sustainable air transport and join this visionary team.
